WNU Editor: The above analysis is correct .... Russia's "experts" on the U.S. have consistently misunderstood how U.S. politics works. They underestimate the power of Congress, they do not appreciate the role of the U.S. Supreme Court and the importance of the U.S. constitution, and they certainly do not understand the powerful influence that special interest groups and the media have on the political process. And while the Russian "political establishment" is disappointed with President Trump .... I can also add that they do not harbor any resentment or distrust of President Trump as they did with President Obama. In a certain way .... the door is still open for both Presidents to meet and find common ground.
