Reactions To Germany's National Election From The Political Parties Involved

Reuters: Highlights: Reactions to German national election

BERLIN (Reuters) - Chancellor Angela Merkel won a fourth term in office on Sunday but will have to build an uneasy coalition to form a German government after her conservatives haemorrhaged support in the face of a surge by the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD).

Following are highlights of comments and reactions:

WNU Editor: The coalition that has ruled Germany for the past few years is no more .... and in this regard this election is a huge defeat for German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The SPD .... who also suffered heavy losses in this election .... will not form a coalition government with Merkel. The FDP will .... but they do not have enough votes to form a majority. The Greens have already stated their conditions .... but I do not see any coalition building from that. The biggest winner by far .... the AFD .... and they won because of their anti-immigration platform. German politics is now entering a new era .... and for the CDU-CSU .... do not be surprised in the coming months a movement to get rid of their leader .... Angela Merkel.

I am a crazy loving of Democracy, but since many years, their leaders rule their countries no matter what the people is thinking, exactly as dictators. The result is now, and not only in Germany. UK, France, Italy and USA. That what the "Media" are not understanding: They are fed-up of their politicians and their media's too ( news on web is growing a lot).

I cannot disagree with Jac.

Talk show host Jerry Doyle, who passed-on, said and I paraphrase "If we went to Washington D.C. to protest, they would just wait us out." 'We have jobs and some point we have to go home.'

He was right.

I would like to know if Jason Johnson has gone to college.

Further I would like to know if he has gone to an American college.

Has Mr. Johnson been following American Academia?

What is happening in football is a direct spill over from Academia.

The Leftists in colleges, who taught the sports caster in journalism school or as media/communication majors have 'moved on'. If Texas edumacator want to investigate Ben Franklin for involvement in slavery and the Confederacy.

Ben Franklin died well before the Confederacy existed. Ben also formed an anti-slavery society.

This investigation of Ben Franklin shows Leftists in universities are mis-educated or know very well what they are doing.

People are fighting back. There are calls to figure out which Africans sold other Africans. That is which tribes sold other tribes after winning a war. What were the names of their leaders.

If the FSB really want to get the Democrats off their back, they need to dig up dirt on the Democrats and people in the media and academia.

A picture of Bill Clinton on the Lolita express would be priceless.

What's in it for the Russians? Not dealing with a 1984-ish America. The Left is that bad in America.
